CEDIA Tech Forums Get Keynote Speakers

CEDIA announces the the keynote speakers for the upcoming Tech Forums taking place in Bristol and London on 20 April and 17 May-- Meridian CTO Richard Hollinshead and Dolby Europe senior manager Stephen Auld.

CEDIA tech forumOn 20 April Hollinshead will present a talk on high resolution audio, where he will outline the science behind the concept and explain the opportunity for installers delivering premium quality audio to customers in a range of different room settings.

On the following 17 May event Auld will talk on Dolby Vision, explaining the key features and benefits of the technology such as dramatic imaging, dark blacks and the widest array of colours seen in a home TV yet.

“We are delighted to welcome Richard and Stephen as our keynote speakers at these first two Tech Forums of the year,” CEDIA says. “High res audio and High Dynamic Range are two major technology trends driving our industry. These talks will allow home technology professionals a rare insight into the thinking of leading brands in both fields which will help to deepen their understanding and add value to their businesses.”

The CEDIA Tech Forums are free to attend events for professionals. A series of one-hour manufacturer product training sessions, the events have a keynote talk at the end of the day. The 20 April event is at the Hilton in Bristol, while the 17 May is in the Novotel London West, London.
