Foxconn CEO Takes IFA 2017 Stage

Foxconn CEO Terry Gou is to make a first European keynote at IFA 2017-- on 2 September 2017 Gou appears at the new IFA NEXT keynote area in Hall 26.

Terry GouThe keynote should have Gou speak about his experience at the what is one of the largest manufacturers of electronics and computer accessories worldwide. Gou founded the Hon Hai Precision Industry Company (aka Foxconn) back in 1975, and opened his first factory in China in 1998, specifically in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. The site still houses the largest Hon Hai Precision factory, and currently the company employs 1 million people, all producing electronics and components for a variety of telcos and OEMs.

IFA NEXT brings together IFA Keynotes, IFA+Summit and IFA NEXT Showcases under one roof. Designed as the IFA global innovation hub, it features institutes for research and development, innovative companies, innovators and product ideas from over 160 startups from 20 companies.

In further IFA International Keynotes, Royal Philips Chief Marketing Officer and CEO of Personal Health Businesses Pieter Nota will open the IFA keynote stage on 1 September 2017.
