Leviton Intros Omni Security, Automation

Leviton announces the EN50131 and PD6662 compliant Omni product family with European versions of the OmniPro II, Omni II3 and Omni LTe controllers and a Tamper Kit for Omni security consoles.

Leviton securityThe Omni solution is a residential and small commercial focused system bridging multiple protocols, including hard-wired and wireless, covering hundreds of connected devices in various applications. It connects security devices, thermostats, light switches telephone and backup battery with 5 built-in ports for additional control devices.

Controllers are EN50131 Grade 2 and PD6662 compliant for security and intrusion, coordinating security, energy and entertainment functionality. The EN50131 versions add tamper switches to controller enclosures, ensuring doors remain closed and the enclosure remains installed against a solid surface.

In addition the ENTMP-9EU used with existing Omni security consoles acts as a tamper indicator.

Further special features include double end of line resistors, new arming/disarming methods, shunt lock incorporation, confirmed alarms for police response, temporary lockout in case of invalid code, enhanced event log, user authorised firmware updates, entry/exit follower and adjustment to security code usage and visibility.
