Arlo Technologies announces the global availability of the Arlo Ultra, a flagship security camera system featuring 4K video capability, HDR, advanced image processing and even a built-in spotlight.
The Arlo Ultra offers wireless setup, together with a 180-degree diagonal field-of-view and two-way audio through dual-microphones and what the company describes as advanced noise cancellation. The 4K resolution image sensor allows users to zoom into video clips to check details such as license plate numbers, while the integrated LED spotlight provides colour images in the dark.
Connectivity takes place via ArloRF, a proprietary two-way radio frequency technology promising both superior long-range wireless coverage and extended battery life. In turn, the camera pairs with the Arlo SmartHub device. Construction is weather-resistant, and a magnetic mount enables easy mounting on ceilings, walls and eaves, as well as simple positioning on flat surfaces.
