Hogar Control launches the Prima Touch, a line of multi-function, modular capacitative touch switches featuring a 3-inch glass design in single, double, triple or four-button configurations.
The switches are designed for on/off, dimming and scene control for Z-Wave and ZigBee smart home devices such as lighting, comfort, entertainment, security and more. Customers can install up to four touch switches in a four-gang light box location using existing wiring, allowing for up to 16 different scene actions.
Prima Touch switches allow users to set custom smart lighting and control actions through programmable buttons. Actions can be as simple as dimming the lights to 50% or as complex as the control of multiple devices through smart scenes. Thus, a tap or a touch can do much more than a standard lighting switch or panel. Each touch switch can be configured to control other smart scenes in an installation, such as shading, sensors, security and comfort devices.
As a retro fit option, installation takes around 5 minutes per location. The switches work with both Z-Wave and ZigBee for wireless compatibility across a wide range of smart home hubs and end devices. Following programming via Hogar app, users can touch, tap or finger swipe (dimmer only) the buttons for simplified control of connected devices.
The Prima switches are available in white or black glass with a black or gold bezel.
