Marmitek launches a pair of devices designed to solve general home theatre "cable spaghetti" woes-- the Connect 421 and 540 HDMI switchers.
The Connect 421 is a 4 input, 1 output switcher. It has a digital audio output allowing users to directly connect audio from 4 sources to a home cinema receiver (supports Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio codecs), reducing the number of required audio cables to 1.
It supports all HMDI v1.4 functionality, including all 3D formats, CEC, HEC and ARC.
Meanwhile the Connect 540 is a 4 input, 2 output switcher with a matrix function-- allowing users to select inputs to each output independently.
Both devices also also carry built-in repeaters and equalisers (allowing the connection of up to 15m of HDMI cable to output) and come inside an interference-reducing solid metal casing.
