A Test Tool for HDMI 2.0

Installers wanting to determine what infrastructure to put in systems can eliminate the guesswork with the Murideo Fresco SIX-G, a  test tool conforming HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance at the 18 GBP/sec level.

Fresco SIX-GCurrent 4K/UHD TVs are a mix of HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, 300MHz and 600MHz, even to the point of varying by port.

In addition the SIX-G acts as a troubleshooting tool for distributed HDMI systems and a reference source for video calibration. It is CalMAN-compatible and provides "absolute" information about HDMI components that work and ID ones that won't.

It offers over 100 patterns for setup, calibration and troubleshooting, including ISF test patterns such as PLUGE, chroma multiburst and colour girls. Also included are audio confidence tests, EDID read/write functionality and hot plug detection.

The device battery-powered and has a 3-inch colour display and simplified menus, with USB control and PC software providing enhanced navigation.

The Murideo Fresco SIX-G is available now.
