Display Development launches a pair of compact projectors-- the Digital Film 4 (DF4) and Digital Film 5 (DF5), both delivering 2K DCI performance and a Xenon lamp with up to 10000 lumens output inside a chassis 71cm deep.
Suitable for bright rooms with acoustically transparent screens, the DF systems include 16-bit processors, the Display Development VP-100 videp processor and a Smart Cooling system.
The Xenon lamp offers consistent brightness, extends colour gamut and improves image fidelity with wider dynamics and colour fidelity than 2- or 4-lamp UHP systems, Display Development says.
The DF4 features a VariScope lens for multiple screen memory display without need for an anamorphic lens, while the DF4 features a fixed-image-width lens.
Multiple installation options are available, together with 3D image processing from DCI servers and 3D Blu-ray players.

Through a hybrid fibre/copper structure the cable delivers up to 10.2 Gb/sec video bandwidth, handling 1080p, 4Kx2K, 3D, Deep color, HDMI-CEC, HDCP and most newer hi-res formats.
An asynchronous USB port allows use with PCs and digital music players. The amp handles 24-bit/192kHz high resolution audio files, and Wolfson WM8740 stereo DACs take care of precise digital data to analog conversion.
It features a water- and UV-resistant all-weather plastic enclosure (complete with a sturdy handle) and a high-capacity rechargeable battery promising 20 hours of playtime, as well as x4 bass radiators and x4 full-range speakers pushing 360-degree audio.
Custom installers also get "Offsite Programming" allowing remote access to MRX-10 advanced network controllers. Installers can program/reprogram, change cable channel line-up, reset favourites or make any other adjustments without need to visit the installation site.
