Designed to meet the needs of EMEA installers, the kits include a security RSMEU Mini Elite mount, 3 adjustable-length columns and a ceiling plate. Customers can order each part separately or as part of a kit.

The Slate .8 is made from a flexible, multiparticle optic material, and reportedly delivers a 55% increase in contrast over the nearest competitor while blending with any décor. It also rejects up to 65% of room ambient light, an improvement over the 10% light rejection of white or gray screens.

Elite Prime Vision (EPV), the custom install division of screen maker Elite Screens, launches the PowerMax Sonic screen-- an acoustically transparent UHD electric/motorised projection screen.

Promising superior performance and "negligible" sound propagation loss through the use of a tight weave .9 gain fabric, the PowerMax Sonic screen is designed to complement in-wall speakers, as it allows sound to pass through with minimal attenuation.

Meanwhile the 95W/220V tubular motor features integrated control circuitry within an elegant case design.

Screen Innovations (SI) launches the Short Throw (ST) screen-- a projection screen designed for exclusive use with bottom-throw, ultra short throw projectors such as the Sony LSPX-W1S 4K projector.

Available in screen sizes ranging from 92- to 120-inch and aspect rations of 16:9, 17:9 and 16:10, the ST screens feature a proprietary optic screen SI claims offers 180-degree viewing angles and 700% better contrast. Thus  it eliminates washed-out images in places with lots of ambient light.

Vivitek launches the DX813 and DW814-- a pair of 3D-compatible projectors featuring "impressive" brightness and up to 1500:1 contrast ratio within a compact, installer-friendly form factor.

The DX813 handles XGA (1024x768) resolution, while the DW814 offers maximum resolution of up to WUXGA (1920x1200). Both promise energy efficiency and low power consumptions with long life lamps, innovative optical and cooling designs and compliance with environmental management standards.

A 6 segment (RYGCWB) colour wheel provides accurate and detailed images.
