Panamax announces further additions to the MR power management product series-- the MR4300 and MR5100, both ideal for home theatre applications.
According to the company the units eliminate contaminated power symptoms (loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums, visual artifacts) through Linear Noise Filtration.
The MR4300 offers Linear Level 3 Noise Filtration for moderately sized systems, while the MR5100 features Linear Level 4 Noise Filtration for high levels of performance in noise-prone systems.
Both units also provide multiple isolation banks and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT).
The MR4300 carries x9 surge-protected outlets (x8 on rear panel, x1 front panel) and the MR5100 features x11 outlets (x10 on rear, x1 front). The two units also have dedicated coaxial, telephone and LAN pass-through protection ports.
AVM circuitry protects from all varieties of power anomalies by disconnecting power in unsafe conditions before automatically reconnecting once safe power returns.
In addition the MR5100 includes power sequencing of x2 outlets banks during start-up and shutdown, preventing damaging speaker thumps and thripped circuit breakers.
Both units are either shelf-, cabinet- or rack-mountable, with the MR5100 shipping with an rack-mount kit.
