A number of RTI products make a European debut at ISE 2014, including the recently launched T3x remote control, the KX1 in-wall keypad and the AD-16x audio matrix switcher.
The T3x remote control combines a 3.5-inch touchscreen with programmable hard buttons, and is designed for simple integration with any installation. It features a dual RF platform with one-way control via 433MHz RF or bi-directional communication via 2.4GHz ZigBee. Wifi support allows web browsing and wireless program updates, while furthe features include integrated grip sensors, accelerometer and haptic feedback within the touchscreen.
For multiroom audio control RTI offers the KX1 in-wall keypad. It features a 1.2-inch colour OLED display and 11 customisable hard buttons, as well as a backlit volume indicator, ambient light sensors and an integrated enternet connection. A more advanced in-wall option is the KX3 controller, with a 5-inch colour display and 5 customisable hard buttons combined with an internal XP series processor and a built-in ZigBee antenna.
ISE 2014 sees RTI expand its audio distribution lineup-- the AD-16x matrix switcher handles distribution of up to 16 audio sources to up to 16 zones, with IR/RS-232 and IP with 2-way feedback as well as a control protocol with group zone commands. A web interface handles zone setup and grouping configuration.
Also seen at the show are the T2i and T2x and T3x remote controls, the Cx7 hardwired tabletop controller and the XP control processor lineup.
