Harman acquires Yurbuds, the "US market leader" in headphones ergonomically and functionally designed for use by athletes for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2008, Yurbuds is based in St. Louis and owns a portfolio of over 60 patents and 70 trademarks covering design and technology in headphones, wearables and more. Its products include the Inspire Limited Edition Wireless in-ear headphones armed with Bluetooth connectivity, 15mm drivers and "TwistLock" protection.
Post-acquisition the Yurbuds team will join the Harman Lifestyle division.
