Wyrestorm starts shipping the MX-0404-PP-KIT, a matrix and receiver package based on the company's Pro Plus HDBaseT matrix lineup featuring slimline display receivers just 15mm thick.
The matrix transmits 2D and 3D video at 60Hz 1080p, with support for 36-bit Deep Colour, HD video and bidirectional control via discrete IR and RS232 over up to 70m of Cat5e/6 cable.
It distributes any connected HDMI source independently and simultaneously to any of the receivers, regardless of HDCP encryption, and can read and copy EDID from connected devices.
Customisable DIP switch settings allow for additional EDID configuration.
Meanwhile the receivers are slim enough to hide behind a display, and feature threaded bushings allowing both standard and locking DC power plugs. LED indicators confirm power supply, signal and HDCP status.
