Ahead of IFA 2014 Samsung announces what it claims is the first soundbar with a design matching that of curved TVs-- the HW-H7500/H7501, part of what the company describes as a "Total Curved Solution."
The curved soundbar replaces the TV stand, and can be installed beneath wall-mounted curved TVs without need for drilling separate holes into the wall.
It is 42mm wide with a curvature radio of 4200mm, the same as that of Samsung curved TVs, with brushed aluminium construction.
Audio-wise it features 8.1 channel support with 2 speaker units on both sides delivering sound from 3 directions. Control comes through Samsung TV remotes, and wireless "TV SoundConnect" handles connection to TVs.
Another Samsung audio product to be shown off at IFA is the M3, a smaller companion speaker to the M7 and M5 Wireless Audio Multiform series. The product range is now also Spotify-compatible, and allows users to play Spotify streams on multiple speakers simultaneously.
