Remote Technologies Inc (RTI) announces a 2-way driver for Cool Automation CoolMasterNet and CooLinkNet universal HVAC bridges, allowing installers to integrate RTI control solutions with major HVAC systems.

According to the company the driver eliminates the need for the setup of complex communication protocols, optimising the installation process. It enables HVAC control and feedback via RTI control interfaces and Android/iOS device apps, and handles up to 256 thermostats from vendors including Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Hitachi, LG, Mitsubishi and Toshiba.

"Our newest Cool Automation driver provides RTI dealers with an incredibly innovative solution for large HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications," RTI says. "With just one device by Cool Automation and a single driver by RTI, dealers have the ability to control any number of advanced climate systems — adding enormous flexibility and simplicity to their control offerings."

Ideal for both residential and commercial applications, the solution can be connected over TCP or serial port for access to thermostat controls, feedback and settings.
