Portable projector maker Pico Genie brings its latest consumer offering at ISE 2018-- the M550 Plus, a pico projector that, at 650 lumens, is the company's brightest yet.
The M550 Plus beams 1280x800 resolution images in dimensions of to 200-inch diagonal from 0.5 - 3m distance. It offers 3D as well as regular 2D images, and promises a battery life of up to 3 hours on a single charge. The contrast ratio is 1000:1, while lamp life clocks at around 20000 hours. Audio is also included via 3W speakers.
Interestingly the projector runs on Android, meaning it offers a number of media apps, including Netflix. The OS also allows Miracast wireless mirroring with most smartphones, including Android, iOS and Windows devices, and the package even includes a wireless keyboard and a remote for easy control.
Connectivity comes through x2 USB, VGA and HDMI ports, as well as SD card slot, Bluetooth and wifi.
