Extron starts shipping the DXP HD 4K PLUS series-- HDMI matrix switchers with support for signals up to 4K/60 with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and the full HDMI 2.0b feature set.
As such, the HDCP 2.2-compliant switchers can handle data rates up to 18Gbps, HDR, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D and HD lossless audio formats. Also included are Extron technologies such as SpeedSwitch, EDID Minder and Key Minder, as well as HDMI input equalisation and output regeneration to ensure reliable system operation.
Installers can de-embed digital audio from any input and assign it to digital or analog stereo outputs for ease of integration. Automatic cable equalisation on inputs and output reclocking reshape and restore timings of video signals at each HDMI input, maintaining signal integrity. Combined with Extron Pro series high speed HDMI cables such a feature allows longer 4K signal runs, reducing the need for additional signal conditioning equipment. Finally, each out put has +5 VDC, 200mA to power peripheral devices.
The DXP HD 4K PLUS series is available in 4×4, 8×4 and 8×8 sizes.
