KanexPro announces the MX-HDBT8X818G-- an HDMI 2.0 to HDBaseT 8x8 matrix switcher aimed at the home theatre market able to shift inputs to outputs over CAT5e/6, complete with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support.
The switcher is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports video resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz, 4:4:4 (10-bit colour) and multi-channel digital audio. It also supports independent, built-in 18x12 digital audio matrix with volume and delay tuning, and can handle high resolution digital audio formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio.
In total the matrix distributes x4 HDBaseT outputs up to 100m, or 4K2K@60Hz signals up to 35m, over a single CAT5e/6 cable, with ARC, CED and smart EDID management support. Control comes through front panel buttons, IR, RS-232, Telnet or web GUI, and custom drivers allow integration with 3rd party systems from Savant, Control4 and Crestron.
The 1U steel enclosure is rack-mountable, and the package includes an external international power supply (100V-240V AC,50/60Hz).
