Barco Residential takes to ISE 2019 to showcase various experiences and opportunities for architectural integration through the use of laser projectors and LED display technologies, as well as launch projectors aimed at high-end residential spaces and yachts.
The Barco Residential projectors on show will feature UHD 4K HDR and native Cinemascope on select models. The company says the laser light source provides longevity, ease-of-use, low maintenance and best-in-class light output, while native Cinemascope capability and compatibility with a wide range of lenses (including ultra-short throw options) allow flexibility in installation.
Audio Room E107 houses what the company calls "different experiential spaces" created in collaboration with partners. For instance, a living room space showcases how a "big" experiences can be created in a smaller space by integrating technology in walls and even furniture. The space features a Balder 4K projector, Screen Innovations Zero-G screen, audoi by Steinway Lyngdorf, Display Technologies mounts and a Cineak Gramercy sofa.
Meanwhile a Wodan 4K projector turns a media room space wall into an immersive canvas for a range of applications. It features Median Audio sound, a Display Technologies screen and a Cineak Largo sofa. The home theatre space integrates the Bragi Cinemascope 4K UHD projector into the ceiling using a 45-degree side mirror mounted created with partner Display Technologies, together with a Display Technologies screen, Meridian Audio sound and Cineak Nero seating.
