Metra Home Theatre Group (MHTG) plans to showcase over 50 HDMI cable products with 24Gbps bandwidth at ISE 2019, manufactured under the Ethereal Home Theater, Helios and The Install Bay brands and available in a wide range of lengths and options.
Among the higher bandwidth HDMI cables are the high-end solutions designed for custom installers in the Velox product line by Ethereal. Velox premium ultra-high speed HDMI cables reach up to 100m for active fibre (with support for ARC but not eARC), 30m for active copper and 10m for passive copper. All support the full 4K spec for 4:4:4, HDR and more. Ethereal MHX cables reach up to 7.5m with unassisted 24Gbps support and up to 17m for use with HDM-GA1 or HDM-GA2 gigabit accelerators.
Helios, the MHTG retail consumer brand, displays the retail store shelf system at ISE. It includes 24Gbps short length fibre HDMI cables and brand signage. The fibre cables do not need external power, and are available in eye-catching retail packaging from 0.9 to 4.5m. Helios solutions allow retailers to provide high-end cables to consumers purchasing 4K displays or gaming consoles demanding higher bandwidth.
For easy pre-wiring MHTG introduces a series of hybrid active optical fibre HDMI cables from The Install Bay featuring a removable headshell for easy in-wall installation. The installer-friendly solution is designed for pre-wiring with a small connector cover and a hook making pulling the cable through conduit easy. A durable CL3 jacket is ideal for pre-wiring new homes, since the UL-rated jacket does not split or break in colder temperatures. They are also available in plenum or CL3 without the detachable headshell option, from 9 to 70m.
