URC announces the integration of the Total Control 2.0 whole-home automation and control system with the HEOS wireless music system through a module allowing for two-way control of HEOS products on a local network.

The URC-HEOS two-way module features now playing control of HEOS devices, with browsing of specified built-in music services and volume control of HEOS devices. It also provides simple volume punch-through to and from any HEOS device. The module supports all HEOS products, and is supported on Total Control 2.0 systems.
In further URC integrations, Yamaha offers a Total Control 2.0 driver adding two-way control and MusicCast multi-room audio compatibility to over 50 Yamaha home audio products. Products compatible with the driver include Aventage and RX-V series AVRs, soundbars, wireless streaming amps, wireless speakers and hifi receivers, as well as the Yamaha Quad Streamer (XDA-QS5400RK).

"Our MusicCast line unites state-of-the-art home entertainment with high-performance multi-room audio, and now it can all be easily controlled as part of the leading URC whole-home automation system."
