Legrand presents Home Smart Lighting Lighting for Apple HomeKit-- a range of smart switches, dimmers and plug-ins customers can connect to the home wifi without need for a hub for control via iPhone or iPad.
The products can be controlled both locally and remotely, and are also compatible with Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant voice-enabled products. Part of the Legrand Global Eliot IoT program, Home Smart Lighting for Apple HomeKit includes the Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer, Smart Switch, Smart Plug-in Switch, and Smart Plug-in Tru-Universal Dimmer.
The Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer and Smart Plug-in Tru-Universal Dimmer control all 120V dimmable light bulbs and loads. A companion Remote Switch or Remote Dimmer can be paired with the Smart Switch and Smart Tru-Universal Dimmer to address multi-location needs, such as 3-way to 5-way control with more than one device controlling the same light.
Legrand says the devices are simple to install, and can be quickly set up to support Apple HomeKit control via either the Apple Home or Legrand Home iOS app. An Apple TV (tvOS 11 or later), iPad (iOS 11 or later) or HomePod enable remote control and automation capabilities.
