Clare Integrates With More Smart Home Platforms

Smart home and security solutions provider Clare announces support for more smart home devices from vendors including Autonomic, August and Danalock, together with an updated Alexa security skill.

Clare integrationsThe update provides support for the Autonomic line of products within the Clare smart home ecosystem, allowing users and installers to control existing audio systems and stream music from services such as Spotify, TuneIn, Pandora, iHeartRadio and others from the ClareHome app. Functionality includes the ability to group speakers within the home, control playback, adjust volume and view album information, among others.

Additionally, Clare supports security skills available in Amazon Alexa, giving homeowners the ability to arm or disarm the Clare Security Panel using voice and security PIN. The Alexa integration also supports the Alula+ Security Panel and will support more security panels in the future. The Clare Alexa integration already supports lighting, lock, thermostat and scene control.

The latest release also brings support for both August and Danalock smart locks. The automated deadbolts allow customers to easily grant visitors access to their home using the ClareHome app.

Finally, Clare announces two additions to the ClareVue Lighting category-- the Z-Wave Fan Control switch and an outdoor appliance module allowing users to remotely control, schedule or include a fan or outdoor appliance as part of a scene.
