Vivitek announces the HK2200-- a 4K UHD projector featuring native 3840 x 2160 resolution through a Texas Instruments DMP chip enabling the display of a full 8.3 million pixels on the screen.

Designed for home theatre use, the HK2200 delivers Rec.709 colour space using DLP technology. A ViviPeaking function refines surface details to improve detail accuracy for an optimal viewing experience, while HDR compatibility provides clarity and colorimetry. The HK2200 includes colour enhancer and skin tone optimiser functions, and ISF-ready calibration tools allow installers to further fine tune the colour result.

Connectivity comes through two HDMI 2.0 inputs, and the projector supports a USB multimedia viewer and a wireless mirroring function. It is also Chromecast-ready, and offers the option to use external wireless casting equipment powered via the projector USB port. A 12v trigger function allows external device control, such as activating a screen or sound system when the projector is turned on.

The HK2200 is available from mid-November 2019.
