Invision launches the DoorBird IP Video Door Station D1101V-- the smallest model in the DoorBird series, being compact, wifi-enabled and an ideal solution for single-family homes.
Installers can either surface- or flush-mount the unit, with two angle adaptors allowing mounting in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The adaptors can also improve angle and motion recognition in case of difficult installation conditions. The device can be used either as a standalone unit or integrated with a number of smart home platforms, including Control4, Loxone and Crestron.
Connectivity comes through wifi or PoE network cables. The D1101V features a full HD camera with a 1080p Sony image sensor, and integrates Bluetooth to enable keyless entry. A 4D motion sensor adds further security. Customers can configure the device using the companion DoorBird app. The app can also control existing installations, such as a door chime or electric door opener.
