Invision announces the availability of the Satel range of Grade 2 and Grade 3 certified Slim Line PIR and dual-tech motion detectors, all designed to save installers time and money by being easy to fit, use and upgrade.
The detectors feature dynamic compensation for room temperature, as well as RF interference immunity and a modern detection algorithm the company claims makes them "highly resistant" to false alarms. All models have a self-locking screwless cover, making it simple and fast to close the detectors, especially at the top of a ladder. A plug-in terminal block makes it quicker to terminate field cabling inside the detector and easily remove the PCB without unscrewing any terminals.
Installers can adjust sensitivity remotely via key fob, ensuring no need for fiddling with toggles and screwdrivers. As a result, the installer or user can simply walk around the property with the key fob and press buttons to adjust sensitivity in each zones. Built-in resistors ensure installers do not spend a lot of time twisting dozens of resistors and pushing them into little terminal blocks. Instead they can just change the jumpers to alter the resistance.
All models have an interchangeable tool-less PCM, allowing easy detector upgrades by swapping PCBs without need to remove the unit from the wall.
