Savant-owned Aritson announces a pair of Reactance Canceling Configuration (RCC) architectural subwoofers-- the RCC160 MkII in-ceiling subwoofer and the RCC320 MkII in-wall/in-ceiling subwoofer.

The RCC160 MkII is designed to designed to deliver evenly distributed bass reinforcement from the ceiling, providing a balanced, blended audio experience. It pairs with the Savant Micro Aperture in-ceiling speakers, and offers a perfect grille match required by architects and specifiers. The square and round grilles are just 11.8cm in diameter, making them a perfect match for USAI Lighting Recess 4.5 fixtures. The rectangular grille is designed to blend with in-ceiling HVAC registers. Each RCC160 MK11 features two 4-inch by 6-inch diameters.

Meanwhile the RCC320 MkII is ideal for both in-wall and in-ceiling installations. It has a higher output than the RCC 160, and is designed for use in dedicated music or theatre rooms. The extruded aluminium enclosure carries four 4-inch by 6-inch subwoofer drivers, and is engineered for tight spaces with pre-construction or retrofit installation into a standard 2 x 4 stud bay. Customers can specify it with a discrete speaker grille or an HVAC-style ceiling grille. Installers can also order a single double-length discrete speaker grille for applications demanding stacked pairs of RCC320 MkII's.

Rated at 100W, the RCC100-SA DSP-enabled amplifier features all-new firmware designed specifically for the Mark II series subwoofers. The 1U digital amp drives up to four RCC320 MkII or eight RCC160 MkII units simultaneously, making installations featuring multiple subwoofers both cost and space-efficient on a per-zone basis.
