Natec's releases new firmware updates for its Extreme Media HD-200 media player, adding more support and fixes including HDMI connection improvement, bittorent support and a shared folder option.
The Extreme Media HD-200 supports the majority of video, picture and audio file formats, and is able to play films at 1080p. It supports file playback via home network, and can even operate without a HDD.
It carries Realtek's RTD 1073DD+ chipset, and can also read multiple flash card formats via USB card reader as well as support NTFS-partitioned HDDs. Connection-wise it carries x1 ethernet, x3 USB 2.0 and x1 HDMI.
The latest beta firmware release (D2.34) also adds support for Youtube, MediaFly, Last.FM and internet radio stations.
