Iogear announces the Wireless 3D Digital Kit (GW3DHDKIT)-- reducing cable clutter and providing 1080p and 3D content for up to 2 rooms without the need for line-of-sight placement.
It uses 5GHz wireless to send uncompressed video and 5.1 audio signals from up to x2 HDMI-enabled deices up to 30m. To add a second room, connect one HDTV to the transmitter's local port while the second HDTV receives content via wireless receiver.
Installers can also set up a "floating TV" by connecting x2 sources to the wireless transmitter while a wall-mounted TV receives content via connected receiver.
The kit includes an IR blast cable, remote control, and x2 power adapters, and is housed in a sleek black casing. It is HDCP 2.0 compliant and requires no software or driver installation.
