Gefen launches the 1:4 Dual Link DVI Splitter-- offering plug and play signal distribution of x1 dual link DVI source to x4 dual link outputs, with no quality or resolution loss.
It works with any dual link DVI PC, supports resolutions up to 3840x2400 and includes internal or pass-through EDID (improving connectivity) and optional output masking control via RS-232 port.
A standby mode keeps the unit idle, using only 1W of power when source is inactive.
It is rack mountable and includes a locking power supply, which Gefen says improves installation robustness and performance.
