Extron ships the DTP T HD2 4K 230 and DTP T HD2 4K 330, two transmitters for sending HDMI with embedded audio and bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals over shielded CATx cable to Extron DTP-enabled products.

The DTP T HD2 4K 230 extends signals up to 70m, while the DTP T HD2 4K 330 extends signals up to 100m. Both provide x1 HDMI input with loop-through to support local monitoring of digital video and x1 DTP output, with 4K resolution video support including 1080p/60 Deep Colour.

Installer-friendly features include EDID Minder, Key minder, bidirectional RS-232 and IR pass-through for remote AV device control, and compatibility with HDBaseT-enabled devices.

The Extron HD 4K 110 is a series of 1-input, 1-output signal regenerators designed to guarantee signal integrity for HDMI sources with marginal or poor quality output.

The signal regenerators are HDCP-compliant and support PC and video resolutions up to 4K, with HDMI specification features including data rates up to 10.2Gbps, 12-bit Deep Colour, Lip Sync, HD lossless audio formats and CEC. They equalise input signal, reduce jitter and skew, and provide output signal pre-emphasis to reliably extend signals, with range reaching up to 7.6m when used with Extron HDMI Pro series cable.

Crestron launches a solution for installers wanting to send 4K signals or connect 4K displays while controlling other devices-- the Wall Plate 4K Digital Media Transmitter (DM-TX-4K-100-C-1G) and Receiver & Room Controller (DM-RMC-4K-100-C-1G).

Available in black or white single-gang decors-style plates, Crestron says the transmitter and receiver are direct replacements for the DM-TX1-C-1G and DM-RX1-C-1G. The two are HDBaseT-compliant and integrated with built-in serial and IR ports control, and can be powered via either included wall mount power pack or PoDM (Power over Digital Media).

CEDIA Expo 2015 is all about 4K/UHD for WyreStorm, as the company will show the H2 HDMI and HDBaseT matrix and splitter lineup with support for HDCP 2.2, ARC and HDMI 2.0 standards.

Atlona starts shipping the AT-UHD-SW-52ED, a 4K/UHD HDMI switcher featuring mirrored HDMI and mirrored HDBaseT with Power over Ethernet (PoE) for signal transmission reaching up to 100m.

First seen at ISE 2015, the AT-UHD-SW-52ED is part of the SW-5 switcher series. It has 5 inputs and offers 10.2Gbps bandwidth with a web server enabling GUI control over EDID, HDCP and audio settings.

Extron launches the DXP HD 4K-- a high performance HDMI matrix switcher series for resolutions reaching up to 4K, including 1080p/60 with Deep Colour, available in sizes from 4x4 to 16x16.

The matrices are HDCP-compliant and support HDMI data rates of up to 10.2GBps, Deep Colour up to 12-bit, 3D and HD lossless audio formats. Several Extron technologies, such as SpeedSwitch, Key Minder, EDID Minder, automatic input cable equalisation and output reclocking, enable "exceptional" switching speeds and device compatibility.
