Vutec Corporation releases the Silverstar PanoFlexx-- a flexible screen featuring what the company calls Accurate Colour Panoptics (ACP) designed to increase colorimetry, while producing the same quality and performance of the Silverstar fixed wall screen.

Zero-G has no black mask above the viewing surface. Instead, the screen is housed inside a two-piece tube suspended from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE) cables. It deploys at a pre-set location and unrolls itself, displaying the viewing surface with up to 5m of drop.
Properly calibrated backlighting (aka hue) behind and around the film screen improves contrast and reduces eye strain, making it especially useful when combining a high-brightness projector with an ambient light rejecting (ALR) film screen in a darkened room setting.
The HZ40UST projects 1920 x 1080 resolution images with 400 lumens brightness. It is easy to set up by simply placing it close to the screen or wall, and can project imagery without shadows or cables running across the room. Optoma claims lamp life reaches up to 20000 hours, while low latency projection make it suitable for games as well as regular media. 3D video support is also included.
