Gefen is the next company to join the growing Core Brands family of custom installation solutions, making for what the two companies describe as "a perfect fit of philosophies, culture and values."

Invision UK acquires the business of Anthem AV Solutions Limited, the East Sussex-based specialist distributor of home cinema system. Further financial details of the deal are not available.

Founded in 2008 by Alan Roser, Anthem AV has a portfolio of home cinema brands including the likes of Paradigm, Anthem, SIM2, Trinnov, DVDO and Screen Innovations.

Roser passed away last March following a short battle with cancer.

In a perhaps unusual move for an audio vendor, Beale Street Audio acquires Netherlands-based distributor BMB Electronics as part of its growth strategy, following a recent international distribution partnership with URC.

BMB will serve as the Beale Street Audio's European hub, creating a "more efficient and responsive" supply chain across EMEA territories. The deal covers all BMB facilities, including 3000 square metres of warehouse space and 1500 square metres of office space complete with dealer resources such as a wired training facility, demo rooms and showroom.

Beale Street Audio will retain all current BMB employees and existing partnerships with Amina, ebode, Terra and URC.

UK-based Habibtech signs a distribution deal with luxury home control system maker Vantage in a partnership allowing for closer integration between Vantage control and Nuvo whole home audio systems.

Vantage offers integrated automation solutions featuring a widget-based UI handling many aspects of the home, including lighting, home theatre, cameras and security. It also displays the current weather and allows for home climate changes.

The Vantage range currently features 3 displays-- the 4-inch Equinox 40 and 41, and the 7-inch Equinox 73-- as well as a selection of controllers, LED dimmers, line-voltage relay modules and DIN-rail lighting control relays/dimmer modules.
