BMB Electronics Now Exclusive AVC Distributor

The AVC Group confirms BMB Electronics as exclusive distribution partner for Benelux and some E. European markets-- handling the Niles, Elan, Xantech, Sunfire and Aton brand portfolio.

BMB OfficesThe brands cover most of the install solution gamut-- from Xantech IR emitters to Sunfire audio solutions, Aton automation systems, Niles multiroom audio products and the Elan g! control system.

Vision Doubles Techconnect Sales

TechconnectAccessories manufacturer Vision reports that in Q3 this year sales of their Techconnect connectivity package more than doubled.

Vision’s Techconnect is a modular faceplate system which allows AV engineers to configure a faceplate onsite quickly. The Techconnect cables plug in to the back of the modules, reducing installation time and eliminating the need to solder onsite.

Stuart Lockhart, General Manager of Vision, says “We’ve got fifty-one distributors all over the world now so a lot of our growth is in those new regions, but we’ve also seen surprising growth in the UK.”

Asked what has contributed to the growth Lockhart claims it is a combination of resellers being let down by other solutions, and smart customers recognizing the modular format has a lower total cost of installation.”

Vision products are distributed by Maverick in UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.

Club Maverick Opens at ISE

During Q1, specialist  AV distributor Maverick will open in three more European countries. As well as the usual product demonstrations, this year the pan-European distributor aims to show  ISE visitors how the Maverick blend of technologies, mixed with VIP treatment makes for the ideal European AV specialist distributor.

Club MaverickMaverick will create a dedicated hospitality area on its stand, and invite existing customers and potential AV resellers to join Club Maverick for a drink and to learn about partnership opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

AWE Europe Launches Own Brand

AWE Europe launches its own brand of premium quality CI products under the Kinetik Labs brand to sell to installers in the UK (as well as appointing distributors throughout Europe to sell to local installers.)

"For some time now, we have been looking to create our own range of installer-friendly products and I am delighted that we can now introduce Kinetik Labs as a new name into the CI marketplace" says Stuart Tickle, MD at AWE Europe. "To become a Kinetik product, the piece of equipment must meet our stringent quality criteria which is set out and assessed by experienced AWE people. This team is made up of front line technical and sales staff, including ex-installers who really know their stuff."
