Kimber Kable celebrates its 40th anniversary with the launch of the Carbon Interconnect cable, the first in a Carbon Series of products aimed at audiophiles demanding the most natural musical performances.

The Carbon in the names refers to an electrostatically dissipative carbon polymer used between the Teflon dielectric and VariStand 19.5 AWG conductors. The company says the manufacturing technology reduces mechanically induced electrical noise in the cable and improves the uniformity of the voltage gradient within the insulating dielectric.

Metra Home Theatre Group (MHTG) launches the 2nd generation HDMI all-in-one correction tool-- the HDM-AIO2-- at the 2019 CEDIA Expo, an update featuring a smaller and more efficient design.

The first version of the correction tool, the HDM-AIO, allowed installers to fix the most common HDMI problems experienced in current home theatre systems. The update features a smaller footprint, the result of a redesigned circuit board promising both an increase in efficiency and faster input switching.

British cable maker The Chord Company announces the Epic USB digital audio interconnect-- a hand-built cable engineered to provide a pure signal to a range of USB DACs, music streamers and digital source components.

Designed to bridge the gap between the Shawline and Signature ranges, the Epic cable carries technology from the recently developed (up-range) Signature Super ARAY USB. The company says performance of the Epic cable is only fractionally behind the original Signature USB, and as such promises a level usually found in more expensive models. 4

Josh.ai joins forces with flush mount solution maker Wall-Smart to create mounting systems for new construction and retrofit applications to help customers blend the Josh Micro device into home environments.

Catering to the interior décor of the home, customers can mount the Josh Micro flush to the wall using the result of the partnership. Custom-built around the spherical structure of the Josh Micro, the mount features audio grilles allowing for maximal sound path while minimising visual impact when positioned in the wall.
