Multiple Signals in a Single Connector

  • PDF

ProbloxBTX Technologies unveils its ProBlox all-in-one connector system-- incorporating multiple data, HD, audio and control signals in a single connector.

The ProBlox includes x2 Cat5e connectors with x16 HD video and x18 audio and control field-terminatable contacts.

Thus the system can be configured in numberous combinations requiring HD (through 75-ohm video contacts), video, VGA, analog/digital audio, control signals or DC Power feeding a single location.

It also reduces clutter and provides a clean, professional look by reducing individual connectors.

BTX says the system makes set-ups simple enough for a non-technical user to handle.

The DDC diagnostics features improved HDCP and EDID analysis, and the system carries hotplug detect verification as part of its HDMI start up procedure.

The system also measures and corrects video loss over the entire cable's length, and is fully capable for 3D, 4K 2K and Deep Colour.

The HDM-CAT6SC supports full HDMI 1.4 without Ethernet up to 100' (with hopping capabilities for up to 4x the distance). It carries a 5 volt supply on transmitter.
