HDMI Licensing announces the Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program-- a program involving additional and enhanced HDMI cable testing and a unique anti-counterfeiting label.

The program includes a best-practices design note and an expanded set of cable testing requirements to ensure cables reliably support the full 18Gbps bandwidth required by HDMI 2.0 specification.
